1. Provider and acceptance
ForteSet is provided by Duan Yubo (段玉波), an individual developer based in Shangrao, Jiangxi, China. By creating an account or using cloud-backed features, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use those features.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13. If you are below the age of legal majority where you live, you represent that a parent or guardian permits your use. Users under 13 may not create or use a ForteSet account. You must be capable of holding the Apple Music access required for the features you choose.
3. What ForteSet provides
ForteSet helps you submit and confirm a strength-training plan, express music preferences, generate an ordered playlist, deliver it to Apple Music, and preserve a Session record. Features, catalog availability, and recommendations may change. ForteSet does not guarantee that a particular song, artist, or Apple Music service will remain available.
ForteSet arranges whole songs around confirmed training stages. It does not promise synchronization to individual sets, repetitions, musical beats, choruses, or exact timestamps.
4. Your account
Provide accurate information, protect your sign-in method, and notify us of suspected unauthorized access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. One person may not use multiple accounts to evade Included Generation, integrity, or subscription controls.
5. Your plan content
You retain your rights in plan text, images, corrections, and supplemental instructions you submit. You grant ForteSet a limited, non-exclusive license to host, transmit, transform, and display that content only as needed to provide, secure, troubleshoot, and support the service under the Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the right to submit the content. Do not submit another person's private information, medical records, unlawful content, or material you do not have permission to use.
6. AI-assisted interpretation
Cloud analysis can make mistakes. It produces a draft for your review, not authoritative training, medical, or safety advice. You are responsible for checking exercises, sequence, sets, repetitions, rest, and duration before confirming a plan. Do not rely on ForteSet to identify contraindications, injuries, or unsafe programming.
7. Apple Music and third-party services
An active Apple Music subscription and appropriate MusicKit permission are required for catalog playback and playlist creation. Apple, not ForteSet, operates Apple Music, the App Store, Sign in with Apple, StoreKit billing, and refund systems. Your use of those services is also governed by Apple's terms. ForteSet is not affiliated with or endorsed by Apple except to the extent the app participates in Apple's developer programs.
8. Included Generations
Each ForteSet account receives three successful playlist generations once. A generation counts only when ForteSet successfully produces a new playlist for a new Session. Failed or timed-out attempts, nonproductive retries, individual track replacement, undo, reopening, and recreating an already delivered playlist do not count. The allowance follows the account across devices and reinstalls. Attempting to reset the allowance through additional accounts, device changes, or manipulation is prohibited.
9. ForteSet Plus
- Plus is offered as auto-renewable monthly and yearly subscriptions through Apple. Both plans provide the same launch entitlement: continued new playlist generation while the entitlement is active.
- Prices and billing periods are shown in the App Store purchase sheet and may vary by storefront, tax, or currency. There is no additional launch free trial unless Apple's purchase sheet expressly states otherwise.
- Payment is charged by Apple. The subscription renews automatically unless cancelled through Apple at least as required by Apple's applicable rules.
- Cancellation ordinarily leaves Plus active until the end of the paid period. Apple decides refund requests. If Apple reports a refund or transaction revocation, Plus may end when that status is received, subject to non-waivable law.
- One purchase is associated with one ForteSet account through Apple-supported account association and follows that account across your devices. It may not be shared among unrelated ForteSet accounts. Family Sharing is not offered at launch.
- Deleting a ForteSet account does not cancel an App Store subscription. Cancel it separately in Apple subscription settings before deleting the account if you do not want renewal.
10. Acceptable use
Do not misuse ForteSet, interfere with security or service operation, scrape or reverse engineer the service except where law permits, access another user's information, automate abusive requests, evade usage controls, upload malicious content, infringe rights, or use the service for unlawful, medical-device, public-performance, or commercial music-licensing purposes.
11. Fitness and health safety
ForteSet organizes a plan you provide and creates a music experience. It is not a medical device, medical service, rehabilitation program, personal trainer, or substitute for qualified professional advice. You decide whether an activity is appropriate for you. Stop if you experience pain or abnormal symptoms and seek appropriate professional help. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Intellectual property
ForteSet and its original software, design, brand, and service materials are owned by the provider or licensors. These Terms do not transfer those rights. Music, artwork, Apple services, and other third-party material remain subject to their respective owners' rights.
13. Availability and changes
We work to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, provider outages, catalog changes, network conditions, safety incidents, or legal requirements may suspend a feature. We may change or discontinue a feature prospectively. A material change that adversely affects an active paid entitlement will be handled consistently with applicable law and Apple's subscription rules.
14. Suspension, termination, and deletion
You may stop using ForteSet and request account deletion at any time. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, nonpayment, or a material breach, and will provide notice when reasonably possible. After verified deletion, the Privacy Policy's deletion schedule applies. Provisions that by nature should survive—such as ownership, accrued payment obligations, lawful retention, and dispute terms—continue to apply.
15. Disclaimers and responsibility
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ForteSet is provided on an “as available” basis without promises beyond those expressly stated. We are not responsible for losses caused solely by your unreviewed plan, unsafe training decision, Apple Music or network unavailability, or unauthorized account use that you could reasonably have prevented. We remain responsible where liability cannot be excluded, including mandatory consumer guarantees and liability that applicable law prohibits us from limiting.
16. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, without applying rules that would refer the matter to another law. A dispute may be submitted to a competent court at the service provider's domicile. This choice does not remove any mandatory consumer protection or right to bring a claim in another forum that your local law does not allow you to waive. Before filing a claim, please contact support@forteset.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
17. Changes and contact
We may update these Terms prospectively. Material changes will be clearly notified and may require renewed acceptance; a new version does not silently change disputes or conduct that occurred before its effective date.
